About

A note from Caroline

I started this the way most good things start — in the kitchen, for people I love.

Hi. I'm Caroline. Two Doors Down is my bakery in Castalian Springs, Tennessee, but it was a family table long before it was a name on a box.

I baked for the holidays. Birthdays. The Tuesday that needed a cookie. The kind of baking you do because somebody you love is coming over, or because the house should smell like something sweet when they walk in. I didn't set out to open a shop. I set out to make the same things I already made for my people — from scratch, in small batches, the day they're meant to be eaten.

Then the orders started coming from a little further than the dining room. Neighbors. Friends of neighbors. A tray for a gathering. A dozen for someone who just needed a good day. That's when I knew the passion had outgrown the holiday tin.

The name isn't a pair of pink doors. There aren't two pink doors to look for. It's Dolly — that Tennessee feeling of being close enough to walk over.

I named this bakery after Dolly Parton's Two Doors Down. Not a storefront. Not a gimmick. A song about knocking on a neighbor's door and finding the light on. I wanted my baking to feel like that: close, familiar, and made for whoever just showed up hungry.

So this is still a one-mixer, one-recipe-box kind of operation. I mix, roll, frost, and box everything the day it leaves. No walk-in freezer. No factory tray. If it's on the menu, it came out of my oven for you.

Give me about a day's notice for a standard order, a little more if you need something big. Pickup is porch pickup here in Castalian Springs — I'll send the details when we confirm. Please pay on Venmo before you pick up or receive your order.

If you grew up on holiday baking, or you just want something that tastes like it was made by someone who meant it, you're in the right place. Come on over. I'm two doors down.
